Two farms, one herd
Bustan Jarash began as a patch of dry-farmed hillside in Jerash — planted by Banan Almasri, who saw an orchard where others saw stone and rain-fed slopes. Today the farm is run day-to-day by Yazeed Almasri, with Basel Almasri leading everything that grows: the olives, the seasonal crops, and the herbs and fruit that surround the herd.
Bustan Jarash grows its own feed on purpose. Our second farm, in the Jordan Valley, grows the grass that feeds our does and ewes — cut, cured, and brought to Jerash, so our females eat exactly what their bodies are built for. Our males follow a separate, dedicated grain diet, built for weight and condition. The entire herd lives here in Jerash, pasture-raised: no confinement, no shortcuts. They roam and graze daily, the way a herd in Jerash always has.
Where the herd lives
60,000+ sqm of hillside land — home to the herd, the orchard, the olive trees, and where Bustan Jarash's dairy, eggs and preserves are prepared.
Where the feed grows
Our second farm in the Northern Jordan Valley (Ghor) grows the grass that feeds our does and ewes — no animals live there, only the feed that gives them their grass-fed advantage.
